The Odyssey

For the Odyssey, we are given the opportunity to really visulize ancient Greece and the Greek gods. We will be working with a lot of visual materials and I will be providing many illustrations myself.

Romeo and Juliet

For Romeo and Juliet my students had an opportunity to study Shakespearean prose as well as life in Elizabethean England. We are using the technique of inference and successfully getting through the original Shakespeare.

Twelve Angry Men

Teaching literature offers so many avenues in which to interact with my students. For instance, in teaching the play Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose, my students learned about trial procedures.
